We had an internal project where we picked exterior paint a couple months ago. When our sub contractor started painting, they never questioned the color.

Our Director of Operations showed up and alerted me immediately! This saved us $ because we could have never left it mint green! Now, it looks great!

Lesson of the Day: Test the color if you've never used it before, especially when you're doing exterior. The sun light makes colors look completely different than they look on the color wheel.

And, having a Project Manager is key. They aren't doing the work so their perspective is more objective. Our carpenters are awesome at their craft but none of them are designers. We have had great customer experiences because our carpenters are skilled and work clean. And, our Project Managers keep them efficient by working with clients and our material suppliers.
